Flying Phenotypes, SUPPLEMENTAL Reindeer Genetics Activity

It can be hard to keep kids on task during the days going into winter break. This activity allows you to give your students a project that is relevant to your instruction while still getting in a festive spirit. Bonus, you get to either review the principles of genetics or to introduce them. Sneaking in some learning is always a gift.  

This activity has gotten an upgrade from back in the day! It now includes an instructor guide, comprehension questions (with answer key), and a PowerPoint for introducing all the important information.

This activity has students practice basic genetic principles in a simple, entertaining, and interactive way. All you need are coins (or a coin flip app) and copies. That's all. You can even leave it for a substitute or utilize when you do not have the entire class for whatever reason (checked out early, exams, etc.)
